Is it possible to install SmoothWAN on the Beryl AX or only the OpenWRT Speedify package? I can test any build if it helps.

Going on with package in next release since GL.iNet has removed the build system, and it’s tricky to make. There will be GL.iNet edition package and full image for PC/Pi.
